We travelled between Wales, England and Scotland in a matter of 3 weeks. It was the biggest trip I’ve ever taken with someone. I documented our travels on digital and fell deeply in love with the landscape and culture of all three countries. It had been such a magical time that the next summer we convinced our four friends to travel there with us. These photos are a collection of images taken in 2017 and 2018. Both times, I wanted to bring these memories back with us.
THESE PHOTOS ARE A REMINDER OF SUCH A BEAUTIFUL TIME IN OUR LIVES, AND AN INSPIRATION FOR US NOW BACK AT HOME TO IMAGINE THE LIFE THAT WE WANT AND MAKE IT A REALITY. WE JUMPED AT THE OPPORTUNITY TO TRAVEL 2 YEARS IN A ROW – WE EXPLORED INCREDIBLE LANDSCAPES, GATHERED AT MANY DIFFERENT TABLES (WHETHER AT A FAMILY MEMBER’S oR THE LOCAL PUB), SHARED COMFORTING AND ENJOYED MANY CONVERSATIONS. THESE PHOTOS SERVE AS A CELEBRATION OF SUCH SACRED MOMENTS IN LIFE.
Over the years that Glen and I have been together, I’ve heard so many stories about the UK. SOME OF OUR FAMILY IS FROM THERE SO NATURALLY MANY STORIES ABOUT THIS PLACE HAD BEEN HEARD MANY TIMES. THROUGH THESE STORIES, I BECAME DRAWN TO THE UK MORE AND MORE AND EVENTUALLY WENT AFTER BEING INVITED TO A FAMILY MEMBER’S DESTINATION WEDDING IN SCOTLAND. WE LEAPT AT THE OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE A FEW ADDITIONAL WEEKS OFF TO EXPLORE MORE PARTS OF THE UK FOR OURSELVES.
